EMO 2021 in Mailand
From October 4th to 9th, 2021, we welcomed our visitors at EMO in Milan.
Traditionally, our fair appearance in the Italian metropolis took place under the motto "Come together". After a long break, this was the first trade fair appearance since March 2020. It was a great pleasure for all of us to meet our customers and new prospects in person and to be able to show our innovations live.
Traditionally, our fair appearance in the Italian metropolis took place under the motto "Come together". After a long break, this was the first trade fair appearance since March 2020. It was a great pleasure for all of us to meet our customers and new prospects in person and to be able to show our innovations live.
The open and invitingly designed exhibition stand provided many opportunities for intense discussions and to view the showcased highlights. We welcomed many visitors and new contacts, all of whom were enthusiastic about the demonstrated machine tools and new products!
At the forefront at EMO 2021 was the vertical turning machine VT-650, which we presented for the first time with the newly developed Y-axis in Europe. Also new and presented to the public for the first time was a new automation solution for our horizontal turning machines of the CUTEX series.
Vertical Turning Machines Now Also with Y-Axis

We recently addressed the need for vertical turning machines that can be easily linked in a line production of complex workpieces and cover both turning and milling operations equally with an updated version of our VT-650.
Since summer of this year, the VT-650 has been available with a Y-axis (±125 mm). We traditionally rely on flat guides in all axes to achieve maximum stability and longevity.
The VT-650 is designed for workpiece diameters up to 700 mm and features a 12-fold turret with BMT75 interface. Additionally, the machine can be equipped with a tool magazine with 16 or 48 slots to handle as many operations per machine and setup as possible.
For integration into production lines, the VT machines can be ordered with the spindle on the left or right side. This allows for the layout and material flow to be designed as efficiently and space-saving as possible.
CUTEX-180BL YSMC with Automation Solution

The new gantry loader offers many useful and innovative features in a small space at an attractive price-performance ratio. Retrofitting existing CUTEX-series lathes is quick and cost-effective. It is capable of handling workpieces up to a diameter of 150 mm and a length of 90 mm. The magazine holds a total weight of 400 kg for raw and finished parts, which can be processed autonomously.
