Safe, durable, efficient – a robust turning centre for continuous operation

For machining brake discs, brake drums, hubs, and valve bodies, the VT-650 is the tool of choice for many renowned manufacturers worldwide.

Since June 2020, HWACHEON has been the first machine tool manufacturer to offer a Y-axis for this machine size and type. Implemented with hand-scraped box guideways for maximum stability, the Y-axis enables all operations to be performed on a single machine. The additional tool magazine ensures peak productivity and flexibility.

The one-piece cast machine bed effectively limits thermal distortion, absorbs unwanted vibrations, and guarantees the highest precision and surface finishes.

Available in left- or right-hand versions or as a dual-machine setup controlled via a single interface, the VT-650 adapts to your needs.

The well-engineered coolant and chip management system, combined with the machine’s compact footprint, enhances efficiency and significantly reduces costs over its entire service life.

Excellent Damping Properties: Box or flat guides effectively absorb vibrations from the machining process by transferring them into the machine bed due to their large contact surface. Hand-fitted and scraped by experienced staff, these guides ensure precision. Central oil lubrication provides continuous lubrication with bedway oil, while the Turcite coating on the sliding surface offers excellent emergency running properties. Machines with flat guides are more durable and can handle higher chip volumes. Thanks to these unique features, they are considered particularly powerful and reliable.

Dynamic Linear Guides

Speed and Dynamics Combined: Linear roller guides provide high dynamics and rapid traverse speeds. The workpiece weight is transferred linearly to the rollers, which must withstand enormous pressure at contact points. Therefore, we exclusively use linear roller guides from renowned manufacturers.
