The SIRIUS-1750 features a large worktable that handles workpieces measuring 3,200 x 1,750 mm (10 tonnes). For even larger workpieces, the table can be extended to 4,200 x 1,750 mm (15 tonnes).

The table and work spindle, positioned under the gantry, are mounted on high-quality linear guideways.

In addition to the powerful spindles, which are developed, designed, and manufactured in-house, Hwacheon ensures the highest quality and precision in its linear guideways. All ball screws are pre-tensioned, and positions are measured using direct measuring systems (linear scales), significantly improving contour and positioning accuracy.

Numerous temperature sensors in the machine bed, carriage, and spindle monitor and compensate for heat buildup, while the spindle is actively oil-cooled and maintained at a constant operating temperature.

The SIRIUS-1750 provides the right spindle for every application:

  • Standard: 12,000 rpm with a drive power of 30/25 kW (30 min/const.) and a torque of 420/239 Nm (10 min/const.)
  • Optionally: 15,000 rpm with a drive power of 30/25 kW (30 min/const.) and a torque of 262/191 Nm (10 min/const.)
