The turning-milling machining center i2 impresses with state-of-the-art technology and outstanding stability. Equipped with a B-axis with an integrated milling spindle and a linear roller-guided Meehanite cast bed, the machine offers an exceptional combination of precision and robustness.
The milling spindle, developed and manufactured by HWACHEON, delivers an impressive 22 kW of drive power and reaches up to 12,000 rpm (optionally 20,000 rpm). Thanks to the Hirth coupling, the B-axis can be clamped in 5° increments or continuously positioned, enabling both 5-axis simultaneous machining and highly stable roughing and drilling operations.

The T2 is designed for the highest demands in series production. With two turrets, each featuring 12 tool stations (BMT-65) and a switching time of just 0.1 seconds per station, it enables parallel operations and minimizes idle time. The integrated spindle motor with 477 Nm torque, combined with the FEM-optimized machine bed, ensures high material removal rates and maximum tool life. Thanks to actively cooled drives, the T2 remains precise even during multi-shift operations.
