For applications in tool, die, and mould making, from precision components to heavy-duty cutting, the M3 sets a new standard. No other machine in this segment stands out as much with its substantial weight, twin drives, and extremely stable guideways. The M3 meets all requirements for dynamic heavy-duty cutting and is also suited for high cutting volumes.

High rapid traverse speeds (up to 48 m/min) and feed forces are ensured by the twin drive on the Y-axis with 2 x 4 kW power. The A-axis of the rotary table is equipped with two high-precision servomotors (2 x 4 kW) and high-accuracy rotary encoders (0.0001°). The entire machine concept of the M3 and M4 is based on stability, precision, and durability. The thermosymmetrical, FEM-optimized construction, along with actively cooled feed drives and our in-house spindle, guarantees consistent precision and endurance.

The M3’s substantial 21-tonne weight underscores Hwacheon’s philosophy in designing and manufacturing high-quality machines for tool, mould, and die making.
